ITIL Exam figures of the first half year in 2014 show a considerable loss compared to 2013, as Axelos reported recently. Europe still seems to be rather stable: a 3% drop. The real loss that affects the volume is found in North America (-11%) and in Asia (-20%). This is in line with news from Gartner, saying that US customers ask the question "What ROI do we have on ITIL investments?" As usual, this question is hard to answer: measuring organizational improvement is not a default element in ITIL projects.
